We collect account information, chatbot content, usage data (IP address, device info, pages visited), and cookies to keep the platform running smoothly.
Our platform enables users to create and deploy custom chatbots. You are responsible for the content your bot collects or displays. We do not currently store chat messages exchanged between end-users and bots. However, we may begin storing anonymized conversation logs in the future to improve performance and ensure service reliability. We will never access these logs for any purpose beyond debugging, abuse prevention, or enhancing functionality. If you enable custom bots for your own users, you are responsible for ensuring their privacy and legal compliance.
To provide and improve the service, process payments, prevent abuse, and communicate essential updates. Full details appear in the PDF version you downloaded.
Performance of contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent where required.
We never sell data. We share it only with vetted processors (hosting, payments, OpenAI, etc.) or when legally compelled. We transmit chatbot input to OpenAI and similar processors for AI responses; this data excludes any personally identifiable information where feasible.
Personal data is kept while your account is active; minimal backups and billing records may be retained for up to seven years.
Industry‑standard encryption, network segmentation, and continuous monitoring are in place, but no system is 100 % immune to breach.
Data may be processed in the U.S. or where our providers operate, protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Email privacy@gummibot.io to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. We respond within 30 days.
We use first‑party and third‑party cookies to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and measure performance. You can disable non‑essential cookies in your browser or via in‑product settings without affecting core features. Essential cookies are required for login and security. We may also use localStorage or sessionStorage in your browser to preserve UI preferences or temporary session context. These are not used for tracking and can be cleared through your browser settings.
To understand usage and improve the Service we use privacy‑focused analytics tools that aggregate traffic data. IP addresses are truncated or anonymized where feasible. You can opt out of analytics tracking by enabling “Do Not Track” in supported browsers.
California (CCPA): You may request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect, request deletion, or opt out of any “sale” (we do not sell data). Email privacy@gummibot.io and include “CCPA Request” in the subject line.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Material updates will be announced by email or an in‑app banner at least 15 days before they take effect.
